What do you get when you cross the “Hello Boys” Wonderbra ad and Burt Reynold’s saucy grin from his 1972 Cosmopolitan centerfold feature? This year the Movember Foundation’s UK branch jump-started the month with a rather risqué billboard ad. The billboard features testicular cancer survivor Jack Dyson resting in the buff with a lascivious smirk that could only say “Hello Girls”. The billboard is bold, daring and pretty hard to look past making it a model ad to draw attention to the cause.
To add more pomp to circumstance, the same image was posted on the Movember UK Facebook page with “I take it all off for Movember” printed across the center. Movember UK even organized a Twitter Q&A session with the new billboard star.
Movember is a movement to raise awareness about testicular cancer, prostate cancer and men’s mental health. Every year, Movember rolls out a new campaign to encourage mo bros to let their moustaches and beards grow untamed in support of the cause. For more information on Movember follow the action with #movember or check out this video.
You can also get involved at http://es.movember.com/en/ and let your stache grow to show your support for men’s health.
